As some of you may already know, Club 1231 will soon be closing its doors for 2009 and moving to another bay area location (TBA).

So in the spirit of the holiday season we are bringing you an exclusive full length live mix from Club 1231. This mix features Tyler Tan and Rob Webster of the infamous Isla Vista House Mafia, bay area DJ Shane Suazo along with Club 1231 resident DJs Eliki, B-Dilla, and QBF.

Hard Summer a Complete failure

From the hardfest website:

We were required to shut down Hard Summer at The Forum last night by the Los Angeles County Fire Department. They declared the event a "hazard" after seeing concertgoers jumping from the balcony to the floor, along with numerous other potentially dangerous activities. The Inglewood Police Department backed the decision of the Fire Department and assisted in the clearance of the venue.

While we, the promoters, worked with the authorities to consider other options to continue the concert, ultimately they made the decision based on the safety of the concertgoers. We are happy to report that there were no major injuries.

We are offering refunds to all concertgoers.

For those of you that were at the Forum, it seats about 12,000 and has a maximum capacity of 18,000 according to the fire marshal. It looked to me like this event was oversold and not managed properly.

What I find really irritating wasn't that MLS had tried to play at the aborted and failed, than was the manner of was failure. Develop difficult based on not being good enough to get into the first university, leave wasn't about a bad atmosphere or a league publicly was too wasn't for him. It was his inability or unwillingness to experience life outside of the US. His stint in Germany was at a very and age (16, I think), young he enough to adapt to life in Europe reluctance so affect was allowed the go back on loan to the he until he matured struggled to be able to handle the situation. In San Jose he prospered, and was consistently the best performer on a mediocre team. can that spoke about his much in Germany and not being able to cope now the move away from the US.
